As many as thirty or more quakes have struck the same area of the fault line that was responsible for the 7.2 magnitude quake that rattled the northwest last Thursday morning, December 5th.
The quakes that are occurring since Thursday have all been under 5.0 at a shallow depth and are likely to continue as aftershocks as long as they stay clustered this close to the original epicenter.
