The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Pollution Advisory for much of southwestern Oregon going into the work week as Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels at times as temperatures remain relatively cool.
Widespread smoke and haze are expected to start the week inland as temperatures are expected remain cooler into mid week as lows stay in the upper 50’s. Afternoon highs are expected to be in the low 90’s cooling slightly to the mid 80’s as the work week progresses.
The coast is also included in the Air Pollution Advisory issued by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. Haze and smoke under partly cloudy skies will keep temperatures warm along the coast, cooling warming slightly mid week with highs in the low 70’s possible.
