The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that it has received new information regarding the Max Greenfield case after he was last seen in Smith River, CA, in March of 2018.
Max Phillip Greenfield was reported to have last been seen after traveling to the Lucky 7 Casino in Smith River with friends, and being identified on security cameras leaving the casino with an adult Caucasian male at 1:50am and has not been seen or heard from since that time.
The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office has received new relevant information and is examining new potential evidence in this case and Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office investigators will be conducting interviews and processing the evidence in the coming weeks.
“We anticipate significant progress in the investigation.” the statement read, and “It is hoped that this case can be brought to a conclusion soon.”
