On Wednesday afternoon, February 21st, 32-year-old Andrew Conaway arrested for multiple sex abuse charges involving two minor children under the age of six. Conaway and his wife own and operate “Family Friendly Daycare,” located in the 3000 Block of Tahitian Avenue.
The Medford Police Department and Detectives believe this is where the incidents of abuse took place. Detectives believe the abuse occurred while each of the victims was under the care and custody of Conaway.
Conaway is being held on 3 Charges of First Degree Sex Abuse, 3 charges of Unlawful Sexual Penetration First Degree, 2 counts of First Degree Sodomy, and Private Indecency.
This investigation will be forwarded to the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office at this time. The Medford Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding Conaway or the “Family Friendly Daycare” facility to contact the Investigations Division at (541) 774-2250.
