- the difference between walk-in care and emergency care
- how the services will change
- provides case studies for how patient outcomes can improve (including statistics for mortality rates with increased ambulance journey distances for patients with potentially life-threatening conditions, time/mortality comparisons for heart attack, asthma, and sepsis)
- financial projections including net revenue, staffing and contractual expenses, capital expenses and projections
- economic growth impact for jobs, output, gross state product, and state/local taxes
- health care service growth potential
This presentation also includes the fundamental conclusion of a regulatory feasibility study CHN commissioned from the Center for Public Service, Mark O. Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University to determine if inpatient beds in Brookings were regulatorily feasible.
