According to Curry County Public Health Public Health Administrator Sherrié R. Ward, Curry County will be moving from Moderate Risk to Low Risk under the state’s framework for assessing the risked posed by the spread of COVID-19 effective this Friday, January 29th.
Beginning Friday, January 29th, through Thursday, February 11th Governor Brown will allow Curry County to ease restrictions on some business and personal activities.
County Public Health encourages everyone to please remember it is important that we all follow the Oregon Health Authority and the Center for Disease Control guidelines and Governor’s directives about social distancing, wearing facial coverings in public buildings and protecting yourselves by staying home if you are ill in order to slow the spread and save lives.
Even though we are allowed to move to moderate level per the Oregon Health Authority, this level can change with any spike or surge in positive cases. The Oregon Health Authority will determine the risk level based on the information provided to the state and according to Oregon Health Authority Guidelines.
