Curry and Coos County remain on a list of ten Oregon counties that have not recorded a case COVID-19.
Josephine county has reported 12 cases and Jackson county has officially reported 27 test-proven cases.
Del Norte County department of Health and Human Services Public Health Officer Warren Rehwaldt, M.D., verified the first test-proven case of COVID-19 in Del Norte County.
The case is a middle aged male, who is recovering at home. All steps for isolation of the case have been implemented. We are investigating the possibility of travel as a source, but at the moment the case is still classified as unknown.
A total of 37 Humboldt County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 after nine new cases were confirmed today. No additional cases of community transmission have been confirmed at this time. Another person has been hospitalized, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to two since the outbreak began.
