Early Friday evening, September 24th, Crescent City Police Officers along with allied agencies were dispatched to Coast Central Credit Union regarding a robbery in progress at 660 L Street, Crescent City, just after 5:20pm.
The suspect fled out of the bank and into the wooded are near the Del Norte County Fairgrounds. During preliminary investigation, officers were able to establish probable cause for the arrest of 36 year old David Schumack.
Most recent information from the Crescent City Police Department was that authorities were actively searching for the subject, and no further information has been released.
