Late Friday evening, Crescent City Police conducted a traffic stop on 31-year-old Justin Carr.
The driver of the vehicle, Justin Carr, was determined to be on active POST RELEASE COMMUNITY SUPERVISION (PRCS) for possession of a controlled substance for sales.
K9 officer Kai alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and Carr, who had unrestricted search terms, had his vehicle subsequently searched.
The search of the vehicle yielded $2,224.00 US Currency, approximately 5.1 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging material, and a digital scale.
Carr was placed under arrest for HS 11378 (Possession of a controlled substance for sales) HS 11379 (transportation of a controlled substance for sales) PC 3455 (violation of PRCS) and other drug-related charges.
Carr was booked into the DNSO Jail and placed on a PRCS hold.
