On Saturday, December 22 at just after 10:30am, Illinois Valley Fire District was dispatched to a single vehicle crash near Cave Junction.
Two people sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene, while a third was transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center Trauma Unit by American Medical Response.
Illinois Valley Fire District was assisted by Josephine County Sheriff Office. The Illinois Valley Fire District Community Emergency Response Team provided traffic control.
The scene was turned over to Oregon State Police for investigation.
