The Illinois Valley Fire District reported being dispatched with the Oregon Department of Transportation and law enforcement to a two vehicle crash on Hwy. 199 between Kerby and Selma just after noon Wednesday, October 6th.

First responders arrived to a scene where two vehicles struck each other head on, blocking both lanes of Hwy. 199. Both drivers were extricated from the vehicles and transported for medical treatment with unspecified injuries.

Traffic was later opened to a single lane as the scene was cleared and the cause of the incident remains known.
