Early Tuesday morning, August 13th, reports of a man down near Eastside Park in Coos Bay began coming into the North Coos 9-1-1 Center, which immediately dispatched Coos Bay Police officers the the scene just before 7:30am.
Upon arrival of first responders, 36 year old Braxton Busch of Coos Bay was found deceased from homicidal violence.
The Coos County Major Crime Team, which includes members from multiple local law enforcement agencies, was activated to aid with the investigation.
This is still an active investigation and the Coos Bay Police Department is seeking information from the public, such as video surveillance footage from the area around Eastside Park.
