Monday is been forecast to be sunny and warm through the afternoon, however, a front will begin to move through the area bringing cooler temperatures, and possibly some light rain to southern Oregon and northern California.
This system is not forecast to bring significant precipitation, but the prolonged period of an unstable air mass circulating through the area could bring a more active weather pattern creating several periods of localized light rain through the work week.
Inland forecasts are for mostly sunny skies through Monday, with increasing cloudiness starting late Monday evening into Tuesday morning, with a chance of showers starting Tuesday afternoon and increasing through Wednesday. High temperatures are forecast to be in the low 80’s Monday afternoon, cooling to the low 60’s as the week continues, with lows in the low 40’s.
On the coast Monday, increased cloudiness is expected after a cool morning with partly cloudy skies. Precipitation is expected to begin Tuesday evening continuing into Wednesday. High temperatures will remain in the low 60’s, with early morning lows in the mid to upper 40’s.
