Low pressure is forecast to move north through the region and brings gusty winds combined with low humidities. Smoke is expected to continue to bring poor air quality to the region for the foreseeable future until area wildfires are extinguished or contained.
Although persistent smoke will continue through much of the week in the valley, there is a chance for at least some improvement late Tuesday into Wednesday. High temperatures inland will get as high as the upper 90’s with early morning lows in the mid 50’s.
Coastal regions will see hazy skies continue, with slight chance of light rain Tuesday night. Smokey skies are expected to push east mid-week as low pressure moves over the area. High temperatures are forecast to reach the low 60’s with lows in the low 50’s.
