Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for portions of Southern Oregon and Northern California, mainly above 2500 feet, for late Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.

A cold storm system is forecast to enter the region Friday evening through Saturday. Showers, thunderstorms, and small hail will be possible as a result, as well as accumulating snow across the high mountainous terrain.
The vast majority of the snow accumulation will occur at elevations above 4,500 feet, but light accumulations will be possible to as low as 3,000 to 3,500 feet.
