U.S. Coast Guard Station Coos Bay crewmembers aboard the 52-foot Motor Life Boat Intrepid responded to assist the crew aboard the commercial fishing vessel Bernadette.
The Bernadette was 20 miles south of Coos Bay and tangled in gear.
After the Intrepid’s crew hooked up a tow and began towing the Bernadette, the vessel was able to untangle and get back to port under its own power.
