Early Tuesday morning, July 24h, beginning just after 5:00 am, the U.S. Geological Survey recorded eleven earthquakes ranging from 2.8 to 5.6 magnitudes off the coast of the Oregon-California Border.
The quakes were clustered about 126 miles west of the Oregon-California coast line with the closest temblor only 62 miles off the coast.
4.3 magnitude at 5:16 am
5.2 magnitude at 7:28 am
3.3 magnitude at 7:33 am
4.3 magnitude at 7:35 am
3.2 magnitude at 7:38 am
4.3 magnitude at 7:42 am
5.6 magnitude at 7:44 am
2.8 magnitude at 9:00 am
4.9 magnitude at 10:22 am
3.3 magnitude at 10:22 am
3.1 magnitude at 11:56 am
The 5.6 quake which occurred at 7:44 am would be considered a moderate quake and would have possibly caused some damages if it hadn’t happened over a hundred miles out and 10 miles under the sea.
No tsunami warnings were announced.
