Cluster of 5 Earthquakes Strike the Northern California Coast

A cluster of 5 earthquakes struck the northern California coast late Wednesday and early Thursday morning, October 23rd and 24th, with the first four striking just before midnight late Wednesday.

The first of the four quakes started with a 3.6 just before 11:00pm, followed by a 4.1, another 4.1, and 4.4 respectively, striking within 10 miles southeast of Pedrolia and just over 30 miles southwest of Eureka at a depth of 6 miles all within minutes of each other

The other last smaller quake measured 2.9 and on the Richter scale striking in the same vicinity just before 5:00am Thursday morning .

None of the two tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
