Clear Skies, Moderate Temperatures and Red Flag Warnings to Start the Work Week

High pressure continues its grip off-shore and another high pressure system developing in the southwest will continue to keep skies mostly clear with relatively mild high temperatures for this time of year. However, this pattern is expected push high winds into the region prompting Red Flag Warnings from the National Weather Service affecting over 3 million people for high winds and low relative humidities across southern Oregon and northern California through Tuesday.

Relatively mild seasonal temperatures are expected to continue through the early work week, with highs only getting to the low 90’s and morning lows in the mid to upper 40’s.

Along the coast, skies are expected to remain mostly clear, with moderate winds picking up as early as Sunday evening, gusting to more than 20 mph at some locations. Afternoon high temperatures will be near 80 in some areas with morning lows hovering in the mid 50’s.
