The Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team joint inter-agency task force served a search warrant Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Medford.
Investigators discovered numerous images of child pornography had been uploaded from a residence in the apartment complex. Investigators are interviewing possible witnesses and involved parties, and investigations are ongoing.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tips started the investigation, which led to subpoenas, followed by the search warrant at the apartment. Digital devices were seized, and will be forensically examined by the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force for evidence of child exploitation.
The search warrant team consisted of personnel from multiple agencies including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the Oregon State Police, Medford Police Department, the Grants Pass Police Department, Homeland Security, and high-tech crimes examiners.
