Partly cloudy skies will transition to mostly sunny skies as the week progresses, with more spring like conditions starting Monday, Memorial Day. As the low pressure system and cold air responsible for directing the past weather systems through the region moves to the east, more stable warmer air will establish into mid-week.
Inland areas will see a rise in afternoon temperatures as skies clear. Partly cloudy skies will initially keep temperatures low early in the week, however, a ridge of warm air is expected to circulate into the area from the southwest, forcing north pacific troughs to the north. Along the coast, mostly sunny skies will warm coastal areas, with mostly breezy afternoons with gusts possibly reaching 20mph. Inland highs could reach the low 80’s as the week progresses with highs along the coast in the upper 60’s, possibly reaching 70 in some places.
