The upper level low pressure system with its rain, thunder and lightning that has stalled over the northwest this past weekend, is expected to slowly begin moving to the east with chances of lingering showers through Labor Day.
Inland areas can expect chances of localized showers through Monday under mostly cloudy skies through mid morning, then gradual clearing, to mostly clear skies as temperatures begin to warm. Afternoon highs are only expected to reach the mid 80’s into mid week with lows in the mid 50’s.
A significant chance for localized showers remains along the coast under cloudy skies clearing as the day progresses and continuing to clear into mid week. Temperatures along the coast will remain mild with highs reaching the mid to upper 60’s and lows in the mid 50’s.
