A suspected mechanical problem led to a fully involved motor vehicle. At the time of the 911 call, the fire was reportedly spreading fast into the surrounding grass, possibly threatening nearby homes.
Upon arrival of units from Rural Metro Fire, the fire was quickly stopped and contained to the vehicle, resulting in minimal spread to the grass.
It was later determined the property owner had a membership with another local fire company. Upon their arrival, a transition of resources occurred and RM units cleared the scene.
