To accelerate progress on work at Last Chance Grade, south of Crescent City on Hwy. 101, Caltrans will be enacting four full night closures beginning Tuesday, May 12th.
This schedule has been adjusted due to impending weather, with overnight highway closures in that area in effect from 8:00pm to 6:00am the nights of May 12th and 13th. Closures are also planned the nights of May 14th and 15th from 9:00pm. to 1:00am and from 1:30am to 6:00am.
There will not be a detour around the closure and electronic overhead signs will be used to notify motorists of the plan.
Emergency services will be accommodated through the closure if necessary.
