The Brookings-Harbor boys varsity soccer team launched their 2021 soccer season continuing to establish league dominance.
The Bruins traveled to Coquille to take on the Coquille/Myrtle Point to take on the Red Devils to start the season. Head coach Jess Beaman’s team wasted no time establishing control.
The first goal of the Bruins 2021 season would come from #15 Uriel Cortes from a penalty kick after a handball in the box.
The Bruin defense and senior Bruin keeper Juan Hernandez would record yet another league shut-out in the 8-0 Bruin win. Five players scored in the contest with sophomore #15 Uriel Cortes, senior #5 Rylan Bruce, and junior #12 Dylan Hodge score two goals each.
The Bruins took the win 8-0, and will travel to North Bend to take on the Bulldogs Saturday afternoon.
