The first set began with both teams trading points early, before the Lady Knights took a small 3-7 lead putting early pressure on the Bruin girls defense. North Valley kept the pace high and extended their lead, but the Bruin girls kept pace, keeping the Lady Knights within reach, however, North Valley would get to 25 first to take the first set 17-25.

In the second set, North Valley again kept the Bruin girls off balance, keeping the ball in the Bruins girls half of the court and capitalizing on scoring opportunities that would find the open spaces in the Bruin girls defense and would go on to take the second set win, 9-25.

Sahara Sankoh, #12, keeping play alive.

As the third set began, now trailing by two sets, the Bruin girls found their rhythm, and battled to keep pace early before taking the lead and extending it to 21-16. But North Valley would cut into that lead late, again forcing the action on the Bruin girls half of the court, and take the final set win 21-25.
