On 12-28-2017 at about 10:30 am, Brookings Police responded to a call regarding three unresponsive individuals in a vehicle located at Fred Meyer parking lot. Upon arrival, officers determined the occupants were safe.
The vehicle they were in was stolen out of Crescent City, CA, and all three occupants had active warrants for their arrest. All three suspects were arrested on the following warrants.
Sinnott, failure to appear for dangerous drugs, theft in the 1st degree and theft in the 2nd degree out of Deschutes County, Oregon.
Sager, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and probation violation for a weapons offense out of Del Norte County, California.
Rhodes, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle out of Linn County, Oregon.
All three subjects were arrested and lodged in the Curry County Jail for the above-mentioned warrants. A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia, stolen property, and suspected stolen property. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are expected to be filed.
