Over the weekend Brookings Fire & Rescue honored some of the men who have performed their duties at a high level throughout the last year.
Those honored from left to right were.., Engineer Dennis Bettencourt-Ems responder of the year.., Firefighter Ryan Willcutt- Firefighter of the year.., Assistant Chief Tom Kerr- Officer of the year award.., and Engineer Jose Flores- Engineer of the year.
