Curry Health Network has announced the first steps towards a Curry Health Network Emergency Room in Brookings have been set in motion. Although a date has not yet been set, Curry Health Network will be better able to set a date after the Oregon Health Authority visits the site November 5th to November 7th for the licensing survey.

Curry Medical Center Emergency Care will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 day a year, staffed with board-certified or board-eligible and experienced emergency physicians, trauma and critical care-trained RNs and Respiratory Therapists. The Curry Medical Center Emergency will be supported by 24/7 Lab and Imaging services needed for an emergency department.

Curry Health Network CEO Ginny Williams will be in Brookings for a presentation and Q&A on the new emergency medical services in south Curry County at 10:00am on Saturday, November 9 at SWOCC!
