The Coastal Christmas Light Parade is coming up December 9th and everyone is welcome to be in the Parade!
The Light Parade will be featuring a $100 prize for the best entry, and participants are being challenged to put together some creative and beautiful designs.
The Parade route will follow Santa in the Brookings Fire truck beginning at Kidtown at Azalea Park and travel Azalea Park Dr. to Oak St., then down to Chetco Ave through town to the Christmas tree at mid-town across from Ace Hardware.
Vehicles will begin lining up at 4:30 pm, and will be leaving on the route at 5:15 pm sharp!
After the Parade of Lights, there will be chats with Santa at the Christmas Tree, cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider.
So come on out and join the fun, even if you are not in the parade, come downtown and see the moving light display.
It’s all about a small town Christmas!
