A traveling 4th to 6th-grade tournament youth basketball team is being assembled in the Brookings area. Tournaments are scheduled in Eugene, Woodburn, Corvallis, Lincoln City and two in Salem from November through February.
Tryouts will be held October 20th and 21st from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM for $20.00 and practices will begin Sunday, October 22nd, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Youth Basketball is a safe, fun and active learning experience focusing on skill building and sportsmanship.
Like all youth sports, basketball is a great way for your kids to get a little extra exercise throughout the week. Exercise & Endurance, Balance and Hand-Eye Coordination, Agility, and Social Skills are just some of the benefits of playing youth sports. Your young athlete will be introduced to the basics of shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, game rules and concepts of the game.
The cost per player will be $150.00 per player, with payments accepted in 2 installments.
This fee will cover the cost of tournament entrance fees, balls, and uniform. Everybody will be responsible for their own transportation, food an lodging.
Group fundraisers will be announced at a later date.
