Both the Bruin varsity boys baseball team and the Lady Bruin varsity softball teams start postseason play TODAY!!!
Keith Wallin and his 15-0 Bruin boys varsity baseball team will begin their post-season run this afternoon at home against the 5-7 Amity Warriors.
The Bruin boys earned their home-field playoff game by going undefeated in league play and earning a #2 state ranking in the 3A-SD4 Special District 4 league. Coach Wallin has meticulously groomed his 2019 league champions for this scenario, keeping his team disciplined and humble as they repeatedly dismantled teams throughout the long season.
Today’s game will be at Bruin Field at the high school beginning at 5:00 pm.
Head coach Tony Baron and the Lady Bruin varsity softball team starts their post-season play on the road today in Clatskanie Oregon against the 12-0 Clatskanie Tigers.
The Lady Bruins finished league play strong this season and earned themselves a position in the post-season. The Lady Bruins scored 68 runs in the final four games of the season and will have to continue their hot offensive play if they are to continue in the play-offs.
