Big changes will be rolling into the area in the next few days bringing strong winds and widespread rain from Thursday afternoon until Saturday afternoon to Southern Oregon and northern California.
Widespread heavy rain is expected to begin late Thursday and early Friday along the coast and spreading into the foothills of southern Oregon and northern California, with the heaviest rain expected from Friday morning through Friday night.
Snow levels will be at 5000 feet, most of the high Cascades and passes will see plenty of snow accumulation, especially Friday night.
