The Azalea Middle School football team hosted their final home game of the season Tuesday evening at Bruin field, taking on a powerful Myrtle Point team.

Myrtle Point took the opening possession the length of the field in a balanced attack featuring passing plays and a strong running game.

The AMS Bruins, coming off of a couple wins but missing some key players late in the season, struggled to establish a run game to slow the Myrtle Point Cubs rush, creating more offensive opportunities for the Cubs.

Myrtle Points running back, #20, scored all of the Cubs touchdowns, outrunning the AMS Bruin defense for big gains multiple times throughout the contest assuring a big win for the Myrtle Point Cubs.
