In a tradition that dates back more than 70 years, the 2018 Azalea Court was selected Saturday night.
Over the last six weeks, the girls tirelessly practiced proper princess etiquette and poise, made public appearances, and gave speeches in our community.
The first selection during the ceremony is Miss Congeniality which is voted on by the princess’s and the winner was Barrieanne Fallert who was also chosen as the 1st runner-up.
This year’s Azalea Festival Queen, as chosen by the Brookings-Harbor High School faculty, is Abby Farmer.
This year, as in years past, the Azalea Queen and her court will carry the official duties of representing the Brookings-Harbor area during the Memorial Day Weekend and specifically the Azalea festival.
