A search warrant was executed by Del Norte County Sheriff’s deputies late Tuesday afternoon, April 25th, at an address on K street in Crescent City at approximately 4:00pm.
Earlier the prior week, on Wednesday, April 19th, Roxanne Hamilton was arrested at the K street address by Del Norte County Sherriff’s deputies.
It was discovered by Correctional staff that Hamilton had smuggled over an ounce of Fentanyl into the jail.
The Del Norte County Sherriff’s Office has been receiving multiple complaints from residents in the area regarding suspicious activity in the area of the address on K street and the Fentanyl recovered by Correctional staff, as well as the complaints made by the community, ultimately aided in obtaining the search warrant.
During the execution of the search warrant four subjects were detained and identified for further investigation while deputies are currently completing their reports as to the findings of evidence at K street address.
Roxanne Hamilton is currently being housed at the Del Norte County Jail under Health and Safety code sections, possession for sale and transportation of narcotics for sale as well as bringing a controlled substance into a Correctional facility.
