Since the Wild Coast Compass reported the December 29th armed robbery at the Columbia Bank branch in Waldport, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives have been investigating all leads, canvassing the area for evidence and collecting related surveillance video from local businesses.
On January 1, 2018, a citizen reported an abandoned clothing item in an unusual location and reported this to a Sheriff’s Deputy. The deputy conducted a search of the area and located clothing items believed to have been worn by the suspect at the time of the robbery.
The clothing items were seized and are currently in the custody of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Among the items found was a size 2X, navy blue hooded sweatshirt with gold colored letters of “D N Y F” on the front and “Football” on the back. See attached two photographs of the hooded sweatshirt.
