Another Round of Wet Weather Forecast for Weekend

A strong stationary low pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska continues to circulate moisture into the region.Wet weather is forecast for the first weekend of June with much of the northern California and southern Oregon forecast area likely to receive some rain this weekend. Light rain or coastal drizzle could start as early as Thursday night and Friday.

Widespread rain is expected and strong winds are possible Saturday as a warm storm with mild temperatures and high snow levels moves through. Coastal regions are expected to see light rain starting late Thursday night into Friday with high temperatures ranging from the upper 50’s to low 60’s. Inland, showers are not expected until Friday afternoon or evening, with high temperatures in the upper 60’s and low 70’s.
