Much of southwest Oregon is under an Air Quality Alert put out by the National Weather Service as ongoing Pacific Northwest wildfires continue, however, upper level winds are forecast to carry smoke to the east.

Widespread haze under mostly clear skies are forecast to start the workweek for inland areas as a weak high pressure system keeps valley temperatures relatively low for late summer. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to only get to the mid to upper 80’s with morning lows in the low to mid 50’s.

Much of the same is forecast along the coast with evening and morning marine layer and drizzle as coastal cloudiness and partly cloudy skies keep temperatures mild up and down the coast with high temperatures getting to the low 60’s and morning lows in the low 50’s.
