Air Quality Advisories Continue as Temperatures Stay Mild for Work Week

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air
Quality Advisory for Jackson, Josephine, as well as much of southern Oregon, as wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels through at least Wednesday Afternoon.

Inland, hazy, smokey skies are forecast as temperatures remain relatively low. The mild temperatures will increase slightly as the week progresses with high temperatures gradually rising to the mid 80’s as the week progresses. Lows will remain steady in the mid 50’s.

Along coastal regions, although Air Quality Advisories don’t extend to the coast, hazy and smokey skies will prevail well into the work week. Temperatures will continue to be mild, with high temperatures reaching the low 70’s and lows staying in the low 50’s.
