A Series of Storm Systems are Forecast to Continue Cool Temperatures and Precipitation

The northwest is forecast to see cool temperatures and precipitation as a series of storm systems push onshore into and through the weekend. Unsettled areas of low pressure with cold are forecast to drop down from the Gulf of Alasks with rain and snow possible.

Chances of rain and snow in the highest elevations are forecast for inland areas and are expected to continue as surface couple of frontal lows pushe southeastward. High temperatures will be in the mid 50’s, into the weekend with morning lows starting in the upper 30’s to the low 40’s.

Along the coast, rain and possible thunderstorms are expected into the weekend and continuing through the weekend. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 50’s with early morning lows starting in the mid to upper 40’s.
