Curry County is offering a great opportunity for budget-minded residents of North, Central, and South County areas who would like to serve on the Curry County Budget Committee.
Budget Committee members are responsible for reviewing the proposed, annual county budget and making budget decisions pending final approval by the Board of Commissioners in June of each year. The Budget Committee normally meets for 4-6 daytime meetings during the month of May.
Because this is a staggered three-year term the North County term will expire December 31, 2019; Central County term December 31, 2020, and the South County term December 31, 2021.

The Curry County Board of Commissioners will appoint the Budget Committee members at a public meeting in February of 2019. Applications are due not later than February 20, 2019.
