With pup season just around the corner, the Northcoast Marine Mammal Center is in desperate need of bath towels. The center can go through anywhere between 10-20+ towels per shift and we have five shifts per day, and can’t wash them as quickly as they use them. If you have any extras laying around, please consider donating them to us.
Since its founding in 1984, the mission of the non-profit Northcoast Marine Mammal Center is to respond to reports of stranded marine mammals along the coastline of Humboldt and Del Norte counties. All rescued animals are then transferred to our rehabilitation facility at 424 Howe Drive in Crescent City, California.
Volunteers provide the bulk of animal care and also work in the gift shop. Without dedicated volunteers, and $10 donations to “Meals for Seals” that feed one of the animals for a day, the Northcoast Marine Mammal Center would be unable to help so many animals!
