Coming off of wins in their first league games of the season on the road Tuesday evening, both the BHHS boys and girls varsity basketball teams will take to the floor for their league home opener tonight.
Coach Gonzales and his 1-0 BHHS varsity boys team will be the opening act tonight with their game starting at 5:30 pm against the Sutherlin Bulldogs who will be making the long trip to Brookings. The Bulldogs boasting a 12-3 overall record and will be coming off their own league win Tuesday night after defeating the Cascade Christian Crusaders 68-47.
Coach Schofield and his varsity Lady Bruins will be the main event on tonight’s ticket at 7:00 pm. His 1-0 Lady Bruins look to record their second league win against a 7-8 overall Sutherlin Lady Bulldog team who are coming off of their own first league victory Tuesday night after defeating the Lady Crusaders of Cascade Christian 57-51.
Let’s get to Bruins arena tonight and reward these kids and their coaches with the support they deserve for all the hard work and sacrifice they’ve put in these past weeks to get into game shape. The boys start the show at 5:30 pm and the lady’s start at 7:00pm…let’s pack the gym and push them to the win.
