Just before 6:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2nd, the Illinois Valley Fire District was dispatched and responded to a two-vehicle crash on HWY 199 in Kerby.
One of the vehicles had only one occupant the driver, while the other had a driver and one passenger. One driver was cited for careless driving and none of the victims were transported to the hospital after being treated on scene by American Medical Response.
Hwy.199 was partially closed for approximately 45 Minutes while the cause of the crash was investigated by the Oregon State Police. Illinois Valley Fire District’s Civilian Emergency Response Team provided traffic control as the Oregon Department of Transportation cleared the Highway of debris.
