The Oregon State Police reported that on Tuesday, December 25th, a woman traveling on Highway 140 along a frozen over Klamath Lake lost control of her vehicle and due to icy road conditions slid off the roadway and into the frozen lake.
Passerby’s who saw the vehicle, stopped to assist the passengers. 39 year old Katherine Jo Maxwell and her 10 year old passenger were pulled from the submerged vehicle. No injuries were reported and both are expected to be alright.
