On Monday November 5th, an Officer with the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to the South Middle School regarding a student who mentioned to other students that he was going to bring a bomb to the school Tuesday morning.
The informed students made school officials aware of the situation who then called the Grants Pass Police. The 13-year-old boy was subsequently arrested and transported to the Josephine County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of Disorderly Conduct 1.
