Coach Kyla Siri and her 8-0 undefeated varsity Lady Bruin soccer team played their final game of the 2018 season Tuesday afternoon on ‘Senior Day’ and in front of the largest home crowd of the season. The 1-8-1 Glide WildCats stepped onto the field determined to be the team to put a blemish on the Lady Bruin record.

Less than 15 minutes into the contest, the Lady Bruins had already established control of the match scoring two goals in that time. Again, Brookings-Harbor pressed the WildCats deep into their defensive end and tested the Glide keeper repeatedly.

As the game went on the Lady Bruins controlled the ball with passing and continuous fast break opportunities getting behind the Lady WildCats backfield. After putting the ball behind the Glide keeper 6 times, Coach Siri substituted the seniors late in the second half and enjoyed the moment after realizing that the final ticket to the post-season had been punched.
