Just before 6:00 pm Monday evening, Illinois Valley Fire District was dispatched to a three-vehicle accident in O’Brien. The driver of the pickup was trapped in the vehicle.
Illinois Valley Fire District extricated the driver. After evaluation by American Medical Response medics, the driver denied injury. Indications are he hit a stalled tractor in the roadway.
The Oregon State Police arrested the driver for DUI. Illinois Valley Fire District units remained on scene for traffic control and to clean up the spilled oil and fuel from the pickup truck.
