Fire Marshals in Medford are investigating a vehicle fire early Sunday morning at the AutoZone on Crater Lake Hwy. The vehicle was a newer F-150, and was mostly consumed during the fire. No injuries were reported.
AutoZone’s delivery trucks were both damaged recently during theft of gasoline.
This is the 3rd vehicle in a week to have gas removed from the fuel tank and this fire appears to be related to removing fuel from the tank.
The F-150 that was damaged was rented from Enterprise locally last week while the two other trucks were being repaired.
The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to call Medford Fire-Rescue at 541-774-2300, or the Medford Police Department at 541-774-2200.
